The Connecticut College Alumni of Color Committee of the Alumni Association Board of Directors invites you to attend the annual CCAC Fall Weekend Luncheon. This year's theme will be Food Justice. Food is a necessity in all of our lives – yet we are increasingly aware of food inequalities within the U.S. Join us for a discussion with Connecticut College Assistant Professor of Botany Eric Vukicevich and FRESH New London community partners as we discuss food inequalities as an environmental and structural issue of racism; access to fresh produce in low-income communities of color; links between diet and health conditions; and Food Justice solutions. All are welcome; registration is required.
